BREATH WORK

6 week Recorded Series

Learn the ancient art, science and practice of breath work for your health, vitality, peace of mind and self connection when it's convenient for you.

Yoga Breathing Exercise

Imagine that you could effect your health, your stress levels, your focus and your energy with something you are already doing thousands of times a day. We breathe up to 50,000 times a day everyday for our entire lives. And many of us have unknowingly fallen into bad breathing habits that  effect our nervous system, digestion, hormones, mental state, sleep and our ability to stay in a state of relaxation necessary to connect to our inner knowing or gut instincts. From chronic fight/flight or freeze to insomnia, high blood pressure and anxiety breathing can become a help or hindrance to our well being.

Breath work is one empowered action you can take almost anywhere to shift out of a state of  discord  or suffering!

The ancients understood the power of breath work and were able to move beyond using the breath for good health . The Bon Po could melt snow in freezing temperatures while sitting quietly and breathing slowly with concentration and connection. In the present, free divers are able to hold their breath for up to 10 minutes underwater without needing an oxygen tank. And Wim Hof let himself be exposed to the deadly E. coli bacteria and was able to boost his immune system through breathing techniques and not get sick at all!

Now I'm not saying this is something you will be able to do in 6 classes but it does show how conscious breathing has the power to impact what our bodies and minds are capable of. Even a small change repeated 40,000 times a day could make an immense difference in how you feel and function. And that isn't even touching on the incredible spiritual connection one can experience through focused, rooted and rhythmic inhales and exhales.

Breath work is a way to connect more deeply to yourself and to support moving through all the ups and downs of your days and weeks and years. It isn't an escape or way to make everything in your life perfect. But it sure is a constant reminder that we have choice in how we meet our lives and that we can influence our very cells, the energy of our emotions and our connection to everything around us.

"We just finished Paula Lazaroff's two part breath work series. When I say it was an absolute amazing experience learning so much in her classes. The classes have taught me the correct way of breathing and it has improved my lungs. I’m very grateful that Paula put this together. I have learned so much. Thank you Paula."
